Canon Kip is a 104-unit permanent supportive housing site for formerly homeless adults (which includes veterans, seniors, and those with chronic disabilities). Constructed in 1994, Canon Kip was the first permanent supportive housing building of its kind in the South of Market (SOMA) neighborhood of San Francisco. Upgraded amenities from the rehab include adding cooking facilities in all units, giving more units private bathrooms, redesign of community spaces, offices, and the senior center.
